Task

To investigate is the T_On and T_Off time of 3 different valves. The valves should be controlled with a signal provided by the user. Recordings of current and voltage monitor in different configuration should be made.

 

 

Result

The desired signals were impressively realized with HERO®power.

HERO®power's PFL series is recommended for its inductive and capacitive load stability and high power dissipation greater than 100% of rated power, especially for inductive applications with the lowest cosφ, e.g. for deflection coils, Helmholtz coils and transformers up to 400kHz.

 

The most important data of the HERO®power power amplifier series PFL2250 ... are:

1. Control up to ±400V / ±25A / DC...150kHz-3db at full load

2. DC ...> 400kHz at reduced load

3. The operating modes can be switched between regulated output voltage and regulated output current.

4. Continuous services: Benefit is >5kW; Power dissipation >5kW Short term + 140%

5. Power increase is possible by parallel connection and bridge circuit.

Task

 

The coil should be driven with impressed current; with frequencies up to 20Hz.

The aim is to prove the secondary voltage at different frequencies

 (5Hz, 15Hz, 20Hz) nachzuweisen.

Result

 

The secondary voltage has been detected at currents of 8.8Arms and 18Arms and frequencies of 5Hz, 15Hz und 20Hz.

How was the calibration of the current transformer carried out in a traceable way?

 

For this you need:

1) for reference a traceable calibrated shunt with 20A

2) a stable DC supply

3) a calibratable AC source such as the PFL2250-28-UDC415-IDC375 with cooling panel

 12  Component tests for automotive applications: Capacitor test

Quality inspection of CeraLink capacitors

 

These are special capacitors, very low inductance, for DC link applications in the electrical system.

 

Any number of PFL 2250 ..... can be connected in parallel to test correspondingly large capacities.

 

Test Example:

With 3 PFL2250 ..... connected in parallel, CeraLinks with cosφ to 0 at currents up to 60Arms at 100kHz can be tested for compliance with their specifications (including temperature behavior).

In this case, very high requirements are placed on the magnetic field, in particular for linear Hall sensors (for example, stabilities of better than 1x10-4). For example, this magnetic field must have this high stability in about 10msec.
